KENNESAW, GA December 16, 2020 - Saving Susan Ministry, Inc. (SSM), a 501(c)(3) Christian nonprofit organization based in Kennesaw, GA, announced a partnership with Grace House, a Christian orphan community operated by Promised Land Association, an NGO in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

Saving Susan Ministry was founded in 2015 by local business owners Jay and Tracy Arntzen with the mission of elevating orphan care in developing countries through local Christian partnerships. SSM partners with and supports Christian orphan communities in countries where borders are closed to adoption by partnering Parent Partners with each orphan at the center through regular video calling, field trip visits, and financial support. Its goal is to support its orphan community partners in raising young men and women who break their chains of abandonment, succeed in their vocational callings, and become disciples and leaders in their communities. SSM also has supporting programs, including music academies, English learning, and university and trade school funding that enrich the education of its partnered orphans and provide them with the opportunity to pursue their vocational callings.

Grace House is an orphan community that was established in 2020 by Mark and Jessica Neitz, founders of the Promised Land Association in Southeast Asia. They opened their first home in Cambodia, Esther’s House, in 2014 to care for victims of abuse. Grace House is focused on caring for orphans and vulnerable girls to disciple them and to raise them with the love of Christ. Currently there are nine girls living at the center.

Mark Nietz is looking forward to seeing the fruit of this partnership: “We are so excited for our partnership with Saving Susan!!! From the first time I met Jay and Tracy I knew it was a Divine relationship! Our organizations are different but we have kindred hearts. Together I know the girls that come through Grace House will heal from pasts, gain vision for their future and have an encounter with the One that created them.”
