Our time in Cambodia was AWEsome. I highlight awe because thats the state we lived in. No matter how much planning we had done, we would end each day counting the ways God took control and did more than we even thought could happen. We spent almost every second being reminded of "how God keeps getting bigger and bigger and we get smaller and smaller". That quote in itself was an example of God at work because it came from the mouth of a sweet high school girl on our team. We were all constantly aware of God at work in and through us for the people of Cambodia.
We have been home for a few weeks and He hasn't stopped working. Just a few days back in the country we had three new parent partners for six kids. We had many more families praying together to decide if they were being called to parent partner as well.
We have seen big plans shaping for Saving Susan Ministry, as well as our partners LifeTotes and FCA. The mission to grow baseball in Cambodia is moving full steam and we are so thrilled to be apart of it and watch our FCA partners jump right in. LifeTotes scouted out a few locations for a new school and God is hard at work bringing that to fruition.
We are still trying to wrap our minds around all that happened in country and all that God is doing here as a result of our time there. We can not thank our supporters enough for their prayer and financial commitment to this ministry and to team Cambodia.
