What does it mean to work for a company with a missional and giving purpose?

As I have grown in life, my job and my reasons for working for a company have grown as well. Working for a company like Genesis Elevator is more than just a paycheck. Sure, that’s an important part of any job, but it is truly a blessing to work for a company with a greater purpose than profit! How often do you get to be a part of something that is greater than yourself?  Let’s compound that, how often do you get to be a part of something greater than yourself, AND be able to support your family, AND be part of a family at work, AND genuinely be valued in your role at work?  Not very often!

I am so thankful that Jay and Tracy’s mission for Genesis Elevator is changing orphans’ lives, giving them the family they wouldn’t have otherwise, and a path to success in life.   That makes it easier to get up every morning.   It makes those tough days a little less stressful and it reminds me that the work I do isn’t simply elevators. It is literally changing lives, and that my friends, is a beautiful thing!
