Saving Susan Ministry Joins the Christian Alliance for Orphans

We are pleased to share the news that Saving Susan Ministry has officially joined the Christian Alliance for Orphans! CAFO unites more than 200 respected organizations and over 850 church members, existing to "labor together in shared initiatives that inspire and equip Christians for effective orphan care." We understand that global orphan care is a challenging arena, and constantly strive to sharpen ourselves through engaging and leveraging orphan care and ministry leaders. We count it a blessing to be a part of an organization dedicated since 2007 to advocacy and best practices for Christian organizations working in this arena.

Every year CAFO hosts an annual Summit for its member organizations to educate, equip, and inspire its members. We count it a special blessing and part of God's perfect timing that this year's Summit is hosted in our backyard, at Johnson Ferry Baptist Church in Marietta! Our staff is looking forward to attending the Summit and learning and collaborating with other orphan care leaders through 120+ workshops and under the teaching of speakers such as renowned football coach Tony Dungy.

As we walk along our journey of growth at Saving Susan Ministry, we count it a privilege that the Lord has given us resources and fellow advocates such as CAFO to help us on our path as we serve the children the Father has given us to care for...one child, one step at a time.
